  • Enjoy the tranquillity of Buckfast Abbey.
  • Watch the fishermen coming back with their catch at Beesands.
  • Walk the South West Coast Path designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
  • Why not try rock pooling at South Milton Sands, providing its low tide of course.
  • Visit Dartmoor and admire the Wild Ponies.
  • Take a trip to Hound Tor and visit the Deserted Medieval Village.
  • Make a sand castle on one of the many sand beaches in our area.
  • Walk the Templer Way, which traces the ancient route that granite was exported from Dartmoor.
  • Visit Bovey Tracey and enjoy a day out at the House of Marbles.
  • Visit the Castle and see the Brutus Stone in Totnes.
  • Visit Slapton Sands and see the Sherman Tank from the D-Day Landings, this is right on our doorstep so you won't have far to go.
  • Visit the remains of the Church of St Peter The Poor Fisherman in Noss Mayo.
  • Visit one of the many exhibitions at Harbour House in Kingsbridge.
  • Visit the Holy Trinity Church in Buckfastleigh and discover the inspiration behind Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Hound of the Baskervilles and the Legend of Squire Cabell.
